Cyprus
Crossroads of 3 Continents
(Asia, Africa, Europe)

With a history that dates back thousands of years, Cyprus is the largest and most cosmopolitan island in the Eastern Mediterranean. The fact that it is the birthplace of Aphrodite, Goddess of Beauty herself, is no coincidence - the Mediterranean climate is fantastic and the natural beauty is stunning. Breathtaking mountains and a coastline of beaches with crystal clear waters make Cyprus a dream destination where visitors can enjoy swimming and watersports 365 days a year.

The rich history of the island continually offers its residents new experiences, and its ancient monuments, castles, churches and museums all combine to create a unique backdrop.

Cyprus today is a member of the EU with the Euro as its currency and a relatively low cost of living. The residents of the island benefit from advanced infrastructure within hospitals, streets, schools, universities, amusement centres, restaurants, theatres, supermarkets and services across the board.

The official languages of the island are Greek and English. Due to the increased flow of visitors to the island, the use of French, German and Russian is rapidly becoming more common.

Cyprus is connected with the larger European capitals on a daily basis by air, and residents enjoy one of the highest standards of living amongst European states in issues regarding safety, health, economy and everyday life.

Safety: One of the reasons the island is so popular amongst the other 26 European states which admire the low crime rate.

Patroclos Group of Companies, in harmony with the above benefits of the island, offers you the possibility to make a sound, lasting and enjoyable investment for a better quality of life.

The island has five big towns

Nicosia: The capital of the island
The majority of governmental services, foreign embassies, universities and offshore companies are located in Nicosia.

Limassol: The second ‘capital’
The largest and most significant port of the island, along with all the important organisations associated with shipping and trade are located in Limassol. Like Nicosia, there are many offshore companies in Limassol making the two the commercial capitals of the island. Aside from trade, Limassol also has beautiful sandy beaches and high-class hotels of four and five stars.

Larnaca: The third largest town
Larnaca is home to the island’s main international airport, a marina and various archaeological sites, as well as many beautiful beaches and rural regions. It is the most peaceful town of Cyprus with a real ‘family’ feel.

The Famous Towns of Free Famagusta
Ayia Napa and Paralimni are the most famous tourist locations on the eastern coast of Cyprus thanks to their stunning white sandy beaches and wide range of hotels and accommodation which offer great holidays all year round.

Paphos
Paphos has a rich cultural history. There you will find the famous baths of Aphrodite and a castle nestled in its picturesque port. The town offers modern hotels and the second international airport of the island. Paphos is a all year round tourist destination.

Troodos
Troodos is the tallest mountain of Cyprus and offers fantastic experiences for nature lovers. From December to March the snow-covered mountain tops attract ski enthusiasts who can partake in their favourite sport amidst excellent conditions. During the summer months, the forests of Troodos offer a shady respite from the summer heat beneath their green foliage which thousands of visitors enjoy in the high altitude.
